When it comes to gun training for women, it can be a challenge to find instruction geared toward women. We offer our MS Enhanced Concealed Carry Course formatted specifically for women in a comfortable environment.
This -ladies only- course focuses on the laws governing concealed carry in Mississippi, to include Justifiable Force and Individual Protective Rights. Our instructor will provide you with a complete overview of the basics of managing unknown contact, situational awareness, and equipment/clothing considerations. This course meets the Mississippi state requirements and includes classroom instruction and live fire range drills. The Enhanced Concealed Carry Course will give you the foundation you need to understand your rights, state law and the basic responsibilities of carrying a concealed weapon.
Topics Covered:
- Instruction in the fundamentals of a pistol.
- Mechanical knowledge of handguns
- Safe practices in shooting
- Loading, unloading & clearing firearm malfunctions
- Safe storage and firearm care
- Identifying the different types of pistols
- Selecting the right pistol for yourself
- Instruction in the legal aspects of pistol carry, and use
- Mississippi concealed carry laws
- Laws regarding self-defense
- Legal restrictions on the use of deadly force
- Simple weapon retention techniques
- Successfully completion of an actual shooting qualification
- Practical firearm shooting exercises
- Live Fire Range Time
Cost: $100.00 (plus $25.00 non-refundable registration deposit)
Participants: 2-5 Students ages 21 and Up
Duration: 8 hours (four hours classroom instruction and four hours live-fire range instruction)
Ammunition Required: 100 rounds
Required Gear: Pistol, holster, ammo, eye protection, and ear protection.
Recommended Gear: Pen and Paper

Our REGISTRATION FORM must be printed and turned in at check-in of course, and presented with a valid state drivers license.
All course reservations are held with a $25 non-refundable registration deposit. Deposits are paid online below. (A 10% discount is available for first responders (fire fighter, EMT), active, former or retired military personnel and immediate family members of law enforcement officers.)
Course fee includes: course material handouts, live-fire range time for the shooting qualification and a course completion certification.
*Mississippi Permit application fees are separate and are paid directly to the licensing authority that will issue your permit.*

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class start time to complete check in. Courses are filled in the order that registration deposits are received.
Registration deposits are only refunded in the event the Instructor cancels course date or no suitable rescheduled course date is available.
