Developing the proper mindset and skills, and understanding how you will react to a stressful situation, before it occurs, is the key to surviving a violent encounter. We take our Concealed Carry training one step further! This course centers on preparing you for violent encounters and developing your mindset to react. This is defensive tactics for every day carry.
Utilizing the building block approach to training, this 8-hr course begins in the classroom. Here we cover the psychological and physical traits of a violent encounter, draw techniques, natural point of aim, methods of engagement and dry fire practice. From there you will progress into a session of learning techniques to retain your firearm and control the situation.
On the live fire range, we will bring together the draw and near threat shooting. Utilizing the previous lessons and apply them to live fire training. The course culminates in stress scenarios and brings together everything that you have learned throughout the day in a real life situation where you will be forced to respond. Applying proper mindset and techniques, you will draw your firearm and effectively control the situation.
Cost: $175.00 (plus $25 registration deposit)

Our REGISTRATION FORM must be printed and turned in at check-in of course, and presented with a valid state drivers license.
All course reservations are held with a $25 non-refundable registration deposit. Deposits are paid online below. (A 10% discount is available for first responders (fire fighter, EMT), active, former or retired military personnel and immediate family members of law enforcement officers.)
Course fee includes: course material handouts, live-fire range time for the shooting qualification and a course completion certification.
*Mississippi Permit application fees are separate and are paid directly to the licensing authority that will issue your permit.*

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class start time to complete check in. Courses are filled in the order that registration deposits are received.
Registration deposits are only refunded in the event the Instructor cancels course date or no suitable rescheduled course date is available.
